Work Experience

It’s important to dress appropriately for your placement, as different industries have different expectations:

• Horticulture and outdoor work: Suitable outdoor clothing, work boots, high-visibility clothing, and any required PPE.
• Other placements: Some employer partners will provide uniforms or specific guidance on what to wear.

In College

Our approach to clothing in college is relaxed, but we do ask learners to dress appropriately for a learning environment. This means:

• No clothing with inappropriate language or imagery.
• No short shorts, low-cut tops, or overly revealing clothing.
• Your college lanyard must be worn at all times while on site.

By following these guidelines, learners can feel comfortable and respected in college while being ready for their future professional environments.
