At Fir Tree College, each day is thoughtfully structured to offer a balanced mix of focused learning, opportunities for regulation, and time to develop independence.
Alongside two days on site, learners also spend up to two days each week taking part in personalised work experience placements. These placements are carefully considered to reflect each learner’s interests, strengths, and individual goals.

When attending college on site, learners follow a consistent routine:

• 9:00am – 9:30am: Registration & Morning Check-In
• 9:30am – 10:45am: Learning Session 1
• 10:45am – 11:00am: Regulation Break
• 11:00am – 12:15pm: Learning Session 2
• 12:15pm – 1:00pm: Lunch
• 1:00pm – 3:15pm: Curriculum Module Session
• 3:15pm: End of College Day

This structure helps promote consistency and predictability, while allowing space for flexibility where needed. It is designed to support learners in building confidence and gaining experience in both educational and real-world settings.
