Our Fir Tree College Football Tournament was a fantastic day, bringing learners together for a fun-filled competition that celebrated teamwork, determination and positive sportsmanship.

Throughout the day, learners demonstrated excellent communication, resilience and encouragement, supporting one another both on and off the pitch. The tournament provided a wonderful opportunity for learners to build confidence, work collaboratively and enjoy healthy competition in a supportive environment.

• Horrocks Hotshots

A huge congratulations to Sarah’s Strikers, who were crowned this year’s tournament champions after an impressive performance throughout the competition.

Events such as our Football Tournament play an important role in developing employability and personal development skills, including communication, teamwork, leadership, resilience and respect for others. They also provide learners with opportunities to form positive relationships, stay active and experience success outside of the classroom.

A big thank you to all of our staff who organised and supported the event, helping to make the day such an enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

Well done to all of our learners for taking part and representing their teams with enthusiasm and pride. We are incredibly proud of everyone’s efforts and look forward to next year’s tournament.
